I travelled by myself

I went for the mid day workshop. The location is very nice and was easy to find with google maps. The workshop was hosted by Togrul who was very friendly and welcoming. It was only myself and one other guest attending, so the session was very social and chilled. Togrul also made us a very nice pistachio based drink. Definitely recommend this workshop if you have a couple of hours to fill and you want to do something chilled out.

Los empleados del local no tenían conocimiento ni tenían preparado el taller cuando llegamos. El taller fue muy bien y el chico fue encantador, por esa parte perfecto. Nos dieron unos mini cezve tras pedirlos, porque ya no los ofrecen, pero no lo tienen actualizado en la web

The staff at the shop weren't aware of the workshop and hadn't prepared it when we arrived. The workshop itself went very well, and the guy was lovely—perfect in that respect. They gave us some mini cezve after we asked for them, as they no longer offer them, but their website hasn't updated that information.

Esperienza diversa dal solito, interessante e carina per conoscere meglio un aspetto importante della cultura turca. La nostra guida Adema è stata molto cordiale e coinvolgente e ha fatto di tutto per farci avere una bella esperienza. 2 grandi pecche: 1. Dura troppo. Sarebbe stata perfetta se fosse durata meno di un’ora. 2. La tazza che viene data per ricordo è una semplice tazzina bianca con piattino in legno, brutta. Different experience than usual, interesting and nice to learn more about an important aspect of Turkish culture. Our guide Adema was very friendly and engaging and did everything to make us have a good experience. 2 big flaws: 1. It lasts too long. It would have been perfect if it had lasted less than an hour. 2. The cup that is given as a souvenir is a simple white cup with a wooden saucer, ugly. Adema was our Turkish Coffee class host & she was so knowledgeable and sweet. We learned so much about the history and unique process, plus we really enjoyed the hands on activity. My 80 year old father was very engaged and raved about how great the experience was. I would highly recommend this activity & it looks like they offer other fun crafts, etc as well.

Really had a great time! The teacher, Nargis, she made the workshop fun and easy going. My companions weren´t that excited to do it, but in the end they said that also enjoyed the activity very much, more than they expected (they confessed that had low expectations, but were really happy about doing it). We learned a lot and now know how to prepare the turkish coffee by ourselfs. I definnitely recommed it to those who enjoy a good cup of coffee.

La actividad cumplió con las expectativas, la zona en la que se encuentra no es la mas céntrica y es una calle medio descuidada por lo que al llegar puede resultar extraño pero una vez que se ingresa al lugar esta todo preparado. Lo unico que nos vendieron un moledor de cafe que resulto ser mas caro que lo que suele estar en el mercado por lo que recomiendo en toda la estancia en estambul en general no comprar ni aceptar cosas q te ofrecen para vender.
